Week of 3/31- Silvia
When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I was 12 years old when I listened to Aerosmith for the first time. It was “Hole In My Soul”… Now I’m 23!

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
It’s difficult to answer… I think that my favourite Aerosmith song is “Cryin” because you can sing it with all your voice…

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
When I went to Colonia this Summer to see them at the concert. I never had the opportunity to see them before.

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
Mine? I always get my friends crazy about Aerosmith’s songs. When I was 15 I wanted to be a singer to be able to sing all the Aerrosmith songs! To be able to scream like Steven Tyler! But I had troubles with my throat (nothing or worried) and I tried with the guitar!

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
I have more than one:
The first one (but I changed it just a little bit)… “Boys before I met you I was F.I.N.E, fine!”
The second one… “I want to take my self on a permanent vacation!”

Tell us about yourself…
My name is Silvia, I live in Melzo, a little town near Milan, in Italy. I study architecture in Milan and I hope to become a good architect one day. I love chocolate and playing the guitar. I would like to be able to sing and to play the bass too. I love taking black&white pictures of people, their natural expressions of every day. I love travelling even if I’m afraid to fly!
If I had to go on a desert island… I could not forget to take with me the chocolate, my picture collection of butterflies, a film about my favourite architect “Louis I. Kahn”, my guitar and my friends!

Your favorite way to relax...
A permanent vacation? Any way… sleeping on the grass while the sun is shining with a flower in my mouth. If it’s raining or if there is no grass and flowers… I love listen to music (sleeping on the sofa eh eh).

Your favorite breakfast...
Drinking cappuccino is the best!

Your words of wisdom...
These aren’t my words but Louis I. Kahn’s. It’s about what he thinks about art:
“The work or art is not a living thing that walks or runs, but a creation of a life that it gives you a reaction. For somebody it is a wonder of man’s fingers, for somebody it is a wonder of the mind. For somebody it is a wonder of technique. For somebody how real it is. For somebody how transcendental it is. Like the “Quinta Sinfonia”: it presents its self with a feeling that you know and you look for. You know but you want hear it again; you know but you must see it again. Truly the work of art tells us that nature cannot make what man can”.

Sorry for my mistakes… I had to translate. However you can find it on: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=ucLDN_6Oj10
