Week of 4/21- Lucretia
When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I first heard Aerosmith when they did the cover of "Walk This Way" with Run-DMC. I was about 8 years old and had no idea who they were at the time.

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
That's a tough question. I would imagine it would be like choosing between your children... if I had any! I've always gotten a charge out of hearing "Movin' Out".

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
That would definitely have to be my very first Aerosmith concert in January of 2006. That was literally the happiest day of my life! After putting my life on hold because it's hard for a black woman to find peers who love this band as much as I do, I finally made up my mind to seek other Aerosmith fans by joining the fan club. That's how I met Melissa, the woman who invited me to tag along with her to the concert in Charlotte, NC.

I was upgraded to the third row in between the duel catwalks because my old seat had disappeared underneath them. Not only was I close enough to the band to touch them, Steven wore my shades and performed the encore with them on!! At the end of the concert, he pointed to the shades, then pointed at me and gave this little motion like his heart was skipping a beat!! That's solidified it for me that this band would have my undying devotion for life!

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
That would be the first time I saw the Run-DMC "Walk This Way" video on MTV. Like I said before, I had no idea who Aerosmith was at the time. As a matter of fact, me and my siblings thought that Steven and Joe were a couple of actors pretending to be a rock band! LOL! We had never seen anything like Steven Tyler in our lives! He was so animated and over the top, we didn't think this was a real person. It wasn't until we showed the video to my mother that we found out two things... A)Aerosmith was indeed a real band and B)my mother was an in-the-closet rock fan. The moment Steven appeared on screen, my mother shouted, "That's Aerosmith! Damn, I haven't seen them in years!!"

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
"Kiss butt, guess what... even double crossing dogs have their day". The Grind

Tell us about yourself?
I'm a single 31 year old who's lived in SC all my life. I've been hooked on rock music since the debut of MTV(yes, I was there that first day). I don't have children but I have 8 nieces and nephew that I spend an obscene amount of disposable cash on. Would love to have kids of my own, but I'd like to find my rocker Prince Charming first and foremost. ;)

Your favorite way to relax...
Back to back Aerosmith on my iPod and once a year, I try to take a trip to Boston, MA. I love that city for many obvious reasons.

Your favorite breakfast...
Right now, it's Special K chocolate delight with 2% milk and two strips of turkey bacon.

Your words of wisdom...
In the words of Steven Tyler... "The things that come to those who wait may be the things left over by those who got their first". So, be sure to get there first!! :D
