Week of 6/9- Ashley
When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I was really little, so I don't quite remember. It was probably riding in the truck with my dad and him saying "I have seen Aerosmith a million times in concert." (Every time you ask him how many times he has seen a band the number increases, but that's why we love him.) It was probably "Janie's Got a Gun". I remember the bass drum and thinking it was kind of scary.

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
Probably "Walk this Way." I love the riff and the beat. It's the song I dance to around my apartment in my underwear every morning.

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
I was in Fourth grade and it was the Christmas. In my stocking were tickets to the February 4, 1998 show at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. The day of the concert I wrote in my Assignment book at school "Aerosmith" all over and my teacher was shocked my parents would bring me to see Aerosmith. I remember going to the t-shirt stand and buying the slate blue shirt with the cat swallowing dynamite on the front, and the devil on the back. I couldn't see over the people in front of us, but I was small enough to stand on the seat and see and not disrupt the view from the people behind us. It was my first Rock concert and I loved it! I think that Ted Nugent was a special guest at the show and played "Cat Scratch Fever." I actually still have the t-shirt. I made a little DIY project and mate it look ragged, but pretty sexy when paired with a pair of jeans.

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
Well right now I am pretty much trying to get my boyfriend of three years to love Aerosmith the way I love them. (My boyfriend is a musician and plays the guitar very well.) So I listen to them constantly and Say "Gosh, What I wouldn't do for Joe Perry." He will reply, "Ash, you get one chance to cheat on me, and if it was with Joe Perry I wouldn't care, as long as he comes and jams with me later."

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
"There's something wrong in the world today, I don't know what it is, Somethings wrong with our Eyes. We're seeing things in a different way, and God knows it ain't his, it sure ain't no Suprise."
That song really makes me tear up.

Tell us about yourself?
My name is Ashley, I am 20 (going to be 21 in August). I am indecisive about colleges right now. I just recently stopped going to Cleveland State, hopefully Kendall College of Art and Design is up next. I have three ambitions in life: To be a rockstar, travel the road, and become the next Kat Von D. I am very Irish and I am proud of it. I am in love with Joe Perry and even got to meet him in Cleveland, OH... I pretty much shit my pants.

Your favorite way to relax...
Warm summer day on the beach with a good book. Right now it is Walk this Way, but I am almost done with it, so I will probably read the Chronicles of Narnia again.

Your favorite breakfast...
Pancakes, eggs, and Crispy bacon.

Your words of wisdom...
"Life is like a two track, There are bumps and potholes along the way, but all you need is a little courage, Four wheel Drive, and Jeep power to get through."
