Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
My most memorable Aerosmith moment...OK. So, earlier this year, I was an intern at a radio station. Naturally, when I heard Steven was singing at the Musicares benefit concert, I would have done ANYTHING to get down there. Originally, my intent was to go down to California and watch the concert. Yet, somehow, due to a very thoughtful woman who was organizing the event, I was given media credentials to be on the red carpet as everyone passed by! I was able to meet Steven (not to mention other rock GODS such as Slash, Alice Cooper and a few others..) Anyways, Steven was so utterly sweet, and as he passed by one of the guards was trying to rush him in. So, I was about to feel my heart BREAK if I didn't see him...YET, somehow, as he was passing, he looked down, saw my massive wings belt buckle, pushed through, to say "HEY! Good stuff right there!" and touched the buckle. He asked if I was pumped for the show and I replied with a distinct "OH YEAH." He laughed, winked, and walked on in.
Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.Ok, so I'm a Martial Arts instructor and usually, I play music during the work out. For a few months, I was teaching a kids' class, and played "Big Ones" on each class. After a few weeks of this, I started getting complaints...Not from the kids, from the parents! I had about 4 or 5 kids demanding to go through their parents' CD collections to get old Aerosmith albums or head to Wal-Mart to buy new ones! Just some more proof that Aerosmith will live through all generations.
