When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I remember moving from South Dakota to Marshall, Minnesota when I was 9 years old. I was so depressed, sitting in the back of the blue mini astro van while my brothers were giving eachother wet willies in the seat in front of me, I was totally annoyed and then the song came on, I was instantly hooked, it was the song known as Sweet Emotion. I smiled, it was the first smile since I found out we were moving...
What’s your favorite Aerosmith song? My favorite Aerosmith song would have to be Dream On...I constantly tell people in my mind to dream on when they ask me to do stuff, it helps the day go by, and of course, I smile.
Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment. OK, so, I was living in Dallas, TX, I believe is was 2006. The night before the concert, I had a glass of wine, felt bad, so I went to bed. 2 hours later, I woke up in major abdominal pain, and told my husband I needed to go to the ER. We get there, I get a CT, and I go in for emergency surgery to remove my appendix. I was wearing an Aerosmith t-shirt at the time, and the doctor started humming some lyrics, and then I was like OMG!! I can't have surgery, there's an Aerosmith concert tomorrow! So, I had laprascopic surgery, begged to be discharged in a timely fashion, I get home and am in too much pain. I pop two Vicoden, lay on the couch, and am so depressed, I can't make it to the concert, so my husband went, calls me, and I listen to the whole concert live on my phone. It made me smile...
Give us your funniest Aerosmith story. I got busted singing at the top of my lungs singing Aerosmith in the shower while in college at 3am. I guess I woke up some of the dorm residents, opps. But it made me smile...
Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner). 'Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away...' my boss, that is...
Tell us about yourself… I am a 30, well, I'll be 31 tomorrow, I am a Minnesotan transplanted to Texas, am an ICU nurse, have some amazing co-worker's whom I consider friends, 'A' team all the way. I am happily married, have a pug, Xena, and love, love, love, Aerosmith. I don't eat condiments, I love, love, love, cheese. I have lost count of the Aerosmith items I have bought. My signature baby gift includes the Aerosmith baby gear...it makes people smile...
Your favorite way to relax... I love, love, love massages while listening to Aerosmith...it makes me smile...
Your favorite breakfast... Hashbrowns baby, it makes me smile...
Your words of wisdom... My words of wisdom would be to make sure you take the time in your life to get to know your grandparent's. I am a huge fan of elderly people. I was close to all of my grandparent's, learned so much from them, I would have set times to talk once to three times a week with them, I would send them random little gifts and visa versa. Never think 'oh, I'm too busy' to call them. My last grandparent passed away 3 days ago, and I am now going to Michigan to attend her funeral. This does not make me smile, but, I know she is smiling down on me...
