Joey Kramer, Aerosmith's legendary stickman, born June 21 in the Bronx NY, will be returning to his place of birth Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22 to be inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame. Joey joins past inductees U.S. Secretary of State Collin Powell, Television Host Regis Philbin, Entertainer Dolores Hope, Author E.L. Doctorow, Actors and Entertainers Diahann Carroll, Rita Moreno and Gary Marshall, Broadcast Journalists Gabe Pressman, Jim Ryan and Lyn Brown, Broadcaster Joe Franklin, Basketball Hall of Famer Nate "Tiny" Archibald, Astronomer Neil deGrasse Tyson, actor Danny Aiello, and filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.
Also to be inducted at Sunday's ceremony are: Valerie Simpson (of Ashford & Simpson fame), world-renowned architect and designer of the new World Trade Center site Daniel Libeskind, Hip-Hop Artist and Impresario DJ Red Alert, sportscaster and lead play-by-play voice of the YES Network Michael Kay, boxing legend Jake LaMotta, Boogaloo Pioneer Jimmy Sabater, and actress/comedienne Liz Torres.
