In May of 2006 www.AeroForceOne.com launched its Fan of the Week contest. At the close of the year each Fan of the Week winner became eligible to be crowned Aerosmith’s Fan of the Year for 2006. We are pleased to announce that Signe, the Fan of the Week for November 27, 2006 has just won that title as well as an autographed poster from the band.
At only 19 years old, Signe has been an Aerosmith fan since she’s had ears to listen. Introduced to the band by her older sister, Signe’s favorite Aerosmith songs include “Seasons of Wither” and “Young Lust.” A recent graduate, Signe has faced a number of challenges to get where she is now and uses Aerosmith’s music to help get over those hurdles and remain positive.

When did you first hear Aerosmith?
My 12 years older sister indroduced me back in the late 80's so i've been listening to Aerosmith since I got ears.. Thanks Sis ! !
What's your favorite Aerosmith song?
SEASONS OF WITHER, without a doubt ! There's so much passion and sweet emotions in that song! And it reminds me of all good times and bad times.. really crawls deep into my heart and soul. ( i played it at my music finals and got an A ) But the lyrics of YOUNG LUST has lifted me up high many many times ! Gives me the feeling of freedom!
Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment:
Well... it's not so flattering actually. But here we go....
I had a rough year during my last year of highschool... i had just come home from London with my boyfriend through two years.. that's when he dumped me and outta hearthbreak i through myself in the arms of a guy who seemed caring, but turned out to be everything else... I was stuck in an abusive relationship for almost a year... i was a coke addic for 10 months.... :/
This one night i'm sitting at a party that's been going on for 2 days... i'm so wasted, destructive and depressed.... that's when somebody put on get a grip and something happend inside me... Really, i'm not kidding... it kinda opened my eyes and i did not like what i see... I realized it was now or never.. i had to get outta there, go back to school, get out of the relationship, go home and listen to some Aerosmith! If they could come through it.. so could I.. And i made it ! I wish i somehow could really describe it, or thank them.... it was, in all it's missery, an amazing experience... there's more to it than music for me !

Tell us about yourself:
Well i kinda did already :) But i actually got my graduation, studied hard for to months... almost didn't make it though. Now i got a wonderful boyfriend who has supported me to get back in the saddle ;) Still suffer under it though... but i keep a positive spirit! I'm 19 years old, mostly a positive crazy person... that's why I love Aerosmith so much, the energy, the lyrics.. makes you wanna enjoy your life and get the best outta everyday! I'm working now, but i'm planning moving to Stockholm with my boyfriend, try to get into the acadamy of art and start a small blues rock band with a good friend :)
What keeps me going is challenges. I cannot settle down and live a quite life..
Road Trips, Adventure, Sailing, Riding harleys, Playing Music and having the time of my life everyday! :D
Summer is my time of the year!
First paycheck goes to my new tattoes: Sweet Emotion on the innerside of my right arm, Young Lust on the other!
Your favorite way to relax:
With my boyfriend! I'm most comfortable with people around me, people and good music! Like on the beach a summer night with a bonfire, guitar and good friends, i LOVE that ! Or in a car going nowhere just riding down the highway, the radio on loud, by boyfriend or bestfriend by my side! :) I'm most relaxed when i feel free and i can be me.

I've never had a Boyfriend who wasn't extreamly jealous of Steven Tyler haha... ! I was always a major problem.. an issue, a threat to our relationship!! But I've actually heard rumours about that my boyfriend is gonna pay for my Aerosmith tattoo ! So i better take it easy with putting up framed Steven posters in our new apartment :)
